Welcome to Witit. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Witit.

Who can use Witit

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Witit. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

Your account

You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Don't impersonate others or create accounts for anyone but yourself.

Your content and conduct

You own the content you add — profile details, plans, messages, and photos. You grant us a limited license to store and display it to the people you share it with, so the app can work. GIFs remain the property of their respective owners and are provided through GIPHY.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or that depicts or endangers minors.
• Harass, bully, stalk, impersonate, or threaten anyone.
• Upload someone's photo or information without their consent.
• Spam, scrape, or abuse the service or other users.
• Attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the app or its security.

You can report content or people from the place where they appear, including an individual chat message. We review reports and aim to act on objectionable content within 24 hours, including removing content and banning users who violate these Terms. Blocking cuts off direct discovery and contact; people may still appear in shared hangouts or groups until you leave that shared context.

Contextual conversations

Chat belongs to a hangout or group rather than a public or anonymous channel. Access follows current membership. You can copy a message, delete a message you sent, report another person's message, mute a conversation, block its sender, or leave the related group or plan using the controls in the app. Deleting content does not prevent us from retaining a limited copy when it is already part of a safety report or when retention is reasonably necessary to prevent abuse or comply with law.

Making plans

Witit helps you coordinate plans, but the plans themselves are between you and the people you make them with. We're not responsible for what happens at a hangout, whether people show up, or the venues you choose.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we protect it, including our promise that friends see only that you're busy, never what you're doing.

Service changes

We're actively building Witit, so features may change, and we may add, modify, or discontinue parts of the service. We'll try to give notice of significant changes.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put others at risk.

Disclaimers & liability

Witit is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.
